Join National instructor Paula Reid for learning to quilt with rulers! Build on your skills and ruler work in this two day workshop. Quilting your own quilts with rulers adds another element to building your skills!

This program is the newest and fifth Quiltworx “Technique of the Month” pattern. This program will teach the Quiltworx foundation paper piecing techniques and discuss how to apply Judy’s latest approaches using reference points and smart corners to ensure your project assembles beautifully. There will be a new technique introduced, curved lone star blocks which adds a fun twist. The pattern will also include a curved ruler that will make trimming a breeze.
The Dinner Plate Dahlia includes many of Judy’s techniques for paper piecing, including cutting, stacking, chain piecing, curved paper-piecing, smart corners, the use of Transition and Registration Point (TRP) Lines, and our newest technique, curved strip piecing.
Instructor Lauren Rogers has abeen a certified technique of the month since 2012. Her goal with all her students is for them to finish their projects. It is so rewarding to help them through the process and see the “aha” moment when it all clicks. Then they can’t get enough!

This is the second in a series of classes. You will continue to build your knowledge of your machine and what all it can do. If you have purchased a machine from us, this class is free otherwise there is a fee per class. Come learn about your machine and all the possibilities!

Stop on down at the Harlem Seed Show and check out our booth! We will be demo-ing the Bernina Q20 Sit Down Long Arm. Take a test drive, register for a door prize and register for a class.

Have you ever wanted to make a star quilt? We will be using the QuiltSmart foundation method that comes in two sizes, 38 or 58 inch. This class is for the beginner with some quiilting skill & cutting skils! We will be working with 2 1/2 inch strips and background fabrics. You will learn to plan your colors, use fusible foundation interfacing, cutting and piecing.
This class will be a 2 day class. The first day we will learn how to use the fusible foundation, cut and sew a few panels (points). The second class will be cutting backgrounds and putting it together.
Fee is $30 plus you will need to purchase the pattern with the interfacing and fabrics required for the size you choose.
